What is Spirefly?
Spirefly is a carbon and nature assessment platform for company supply chains. It ingests your data in the formats it already exists in, returns a footprint across carbon, land, water, biodiversity, pollution, and materials, and then puts that footprint to work: scenario modelling, dashboards for the teams making decisions, and disclosure sections drafted from your own numbers. You measure, act, and report on one dataset.
Who is Spirefly for?
Spirefly is built for lean sustainability teams, typically one to five people, carrying the environmental footprint of a company with a few hundred employees and a supply chain far larger than the team. Customers include HEMA, Picnic, Sodexo, Zalando, and Rainforest Alliance.
Which frameworks does Spirefly align to?
Spirefly is the measurement layer aligned to the GHG Protocol for carbon, SBTN and TNFD for nature, and CSRD, VSME, and SBTi for disclosure. EUDR support is partial today and covers traceability documentation and country of origin records for regulated commodities. Spirefly produces the footprint figures, the methodology record, and the drafted disclosure sections your team reviews and signs off. It does not file disclosures on your behalf.
Does Spirefly measure nature as well as carbon?
Yes, and from the same data. Spirefly runs 15 impact indicators across land, freshwater, biodiversity, and pollution, aligned to SBTN and TNFD, using the same inputs as your carbon assessment. That is what surfaces the trade-offs a carbon-only view hides, such as a sourcing change that cuts emissions while it raises water stress.
Where do Spirefly's emission and impact factors come from?
Every figure in Spirefly carries its provenance: the emission or impact factor applied, the database that factor came from, its scope classification, and whether the underlying data was measured or estimated. Estimates are flagged with a confidence level, so you always know which numbers are solid enough to act on and where better data would move the result.
